В антенатальный и постнатальный период развития исследовали потомство интактных крыс-самок, скрещённых с самцами, которым вводили низкие дозы метотрексата за 3 и 6 мес до спаривания. Сроки скрещивания соответствовали проявлению воздействия препарата на сперматогониальные стволовые клетки. В потомстве самцов в антенатальном периоде развития наблюдали повышенные преимплантационные потери, задержку роста плодов, в постнатальном периоде — торможение физического развития, снижение скорости формирования сенсорно-двигательных рефлексов, способности к обучению.

The study of ante- and postnatal development of the offspring of intact female rats crossed with males, which were injected with low doses of methotrexate 3 and 6 months before mating, was carried out. The timing of crossing corresponded to the manifestation of the effect on stem spermatogonial cells. The results of the studies showed that in the offspring of male rats, the following are detected: in the antenatal period of development — increased preimplantation losses, fetal growth retardation; in the postnatal period — inhibition of physical development, a decrease in the rate of formation of sensory-motor reflexes, the ability to learn.
