Исследовали структурную организацию коркового поля 10 префронтальной коры левого и правого полушария мозга учёного физика-изобретателя (возраст — 78 лет). Изучены серии фронтальных срезов в сопоставлении с образцами, полученными от мужчин старческого возраста (контрольная группа). Срезы толщиной 20 мкм окрашивали по методу Ниссля. Цитоархитектоническая организация коркового поля 10 префронтальной коры мозга учёного характеризуется лучше выраженной вертикальной исчерченностью, большей толщиной коры и толщиной ассоциативного слоя III, большей величиной и плотностью пирамидных нейронов и плотностью сателлитной глии.

The aim of the work is to identify the leading cytoarchitectonic criteria that characterize the structural organization of the cortical area 10 of the prefrontal cortex in the left and right hemispheres of the brain of an outstanding scientist. The study was carried out on a continuous series of frontal slices in comparison with the same cortex of the men of the control group, slices with a thickness of 20 microns were colored using the Nissl method. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the cytoarchitectonic organization of the cortical area 10 of the prefrontal cortex of the brain of an outstanding scientist-inventor, is characterized by a number of structural differences from the same cortical area of the brain of men in the control group.
