Изучали влияние гербицида глифосата на плодовитость и продолжительность жизни D. melanogaster. Использовали мух дикого типа, полученных из природной популяции и поддерживаемых в лаборатории, и мух линии Oregon-R. Были исследованы концентрации глифосата 0.028, 0.28 и 2.8 мг/мл. Глифосат в концентрации 2.8 мг/мл снижал продолжительность жизни самцов, количество куколок и имаго в потомстве D. melanogaster из природной популяции и линии Oregon-R, тогда как для концентраций 0.028 и 0.28 мг/мл не отмечено неблагоприятного воздействия на исследуемые показатели.

We studied the effect of glyphosate herbicide on the fertility and life span of D. melanogaster. Flies of wild type obtained from the natural population and maintained in the laboratory, and flies of the Oregon-R strain were used. Glyphosate concentrations 0.028 mg/ml, 0.28 mg/ml, 2.8 mg/ml were tested. Glyphosate concentration of 2.8 mg/ml reduced the life span of males, the number of pupae and imago in the progeny of D. melanogaster from the natural population and the OR strain, while for concentrations 0.028 mg/ml and 0.28 mg/ml there was no adverse effect on indicators investigated
